Sentinels Of The Multiverse card battle game lands on smartphones

Sentinels of the Multiverse, developed by indie games developer Handelabra Games, has now been released for iOS and Android smartphones.  The 2.0 update of the popular comic-book themed, cooperative, card brawler, makes it a Universal App, which is free to existing owners on iPad and Android tablets who can now install and play on their smaller mobile devices.  Sentinels of the Multiverse will be on sale from August 4-11 on Google Play, iTunes, and the Amazon AppStore for $2.99 (regularly $9.99).

Sentinels of the Multiverse on smartphone offers the complete experience with a great new and updated interface designed specifically for mobile play.  More importantly, we’re super excited to be able to offer our fans the opportunity to play Sentinels freely between their iOS and Android tablets and smartphones,” said Jeremy Handel, president of Handelabra Games.  “That said, we’re still not done.  We’re now hard at work on Season 2 and can’t wait to show the Sentinels community what we’ve been up to.”

Sentinels 2

The Sentinels of the Multiverse comic book theme, cooperative multiplayer interaction, and card battle gameplay combine to create one of today’s most original gaming experiences – one where players fight through the pages of an actual comic book story.  The game itself takes place in the world of Sentinel Comics, a new and exciting comic universe created by Christopher Badell and Adam Rebottaro. In Sentinels of the Multiverse, players take control of up to five superheroes in cooperative, turn-based battles against a near endless supply of super-powered villains, their card-based minions and abilities, as well as a host of highly unpredictable, occasionally helpful, but usually hostile battle environments and scenarios.

Sentinels 3

In April, Sentinels of the Multiverse successfully completed a Kickstarter campaign for Season 2, which will continue building upon the innovative gameplay and intriguing storylines set forth in the studio’s critically-acclaimed inaugural release.   Season 2 of Sentinels of the Multiverse will deliver the long-awaited Vengeance expansion followed by Villains of the Multiverse, Mini Pack 4Void Guard and OblivAeon.
