Game Reviewers Wanted To Join Our Team!

We’re always on the lookout for people to join our creative team. We’ve got an extremely talented group of writers, artists, web designers, and all round creative people here at Infinite Frontiers. Between them, they help us produce three websites, two fanzines and our YouTube channel, but we’re in need of some new recruits to help us once again…

Right now, we’re looking at bringing in at least two new people dedicated to helping us out with video game reviews. It’s not a paid position, but we will be able to supply the successful recruits with a regular supply of new games across a range of platforms every week.

What We Need

We are looking for people who are able to play and review games across several different formats. Having a Steam account is essential and then as many contemporary formats as possible – Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X. Here at Infinite Frontiers we intend to bring in two new people into our team, specifically to tackle game reviews on a range of platforms. We’re doing this as we believe that it’s an area of this website that needs strenthening.

Requirements

A good grasp of written English is a must, and while knowledge of WordPress based websites would be an advantage, it’s not critical as we can train successful applicants.

You should have a keen interest in a diverse range of game genres is essential, as well as a willingness to try a range of games from AAA to unknown indie titles, treating each one equally. While our focus primarily will be on written reviews, we are also looking for individuals who might be interested in creating video reviews for YouTube as well.

In addition to writing the reviews, you would be asked to promote any reviews you write via any social media outlets you are on. Namely, sharing the posts via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc. either to personal profiles or any relevant groups you may be a member of.

What You Receive

Unfortunately, this is an unpaid position. However, all the games you will be asked to review will be provided for you. This will be in the form of a digital codes for your prefered platform. As long as the successful applicant(s) are able to review games punctually, we will be able to supply more on a regular basis.

How To Apply

We have a number of Steam codes available right now that we are willing to provide for potential applicants. If you are interested in trying out for one of these roles, get in touch using our Contact Form. In your email, tell us briefly a bit about yourself, what systems you own, the specs of your PC and what game genres you are normally interested in. If we decide to follow up on your application you will be sent a Steam code for a random game as well as information about it.

You will then need to play that game and send us a review of at least 600 words as a Word file within 7 days. If we’re happy with what we’ve seen then you may well become our next team member…!
