“New” Atari console coming… with a portable in tow!

We’ve received news of a new Atari console and a handheld! These will be releasing with built-in games, a bit like the new NES Classic edition.

Here are the details:

ATARI ‘CLASSIC’ HOME CONSOLE AND ‘ULTIMATE’ HANDHELD – PACKED WITH UP TO 101 GAMES BUILT-IN!

Hot on the heels of the latest SEGA and Nintendo announcements, this brand new Officially Licensed Atari range includes a 2 player home console and a handheld console (with SD card slot) – both PACKED with built-in games!

The classic home console (the Atari Flashback 7) comes with 101 (yes, one hundred and one!) built-in games while the handheld (Atari Ultimate Classic) ships with 60 built-in games and the ability to add more via the SD card slot! Both feature Atari classics such as Asteroids, Missile Command, Centipede, Pong and more!

The range will be available in November 2016.
